一、AGED COS devices

 二、Requirement analysis

1、At the same time, 50/100/150(optional) high-power laser COS devices are aged

2、HIGH-POWER COS devices need constant current 18A power supply, voltage is generally about 1.8 V

3、Taking into account the universality of the device, according to a single device maximum 20A, 3V design.

4、The temperature of high power COS device should be controlled from 45 °C to 70 °C.

三、Description of aging program

    COS aging equipment consists of temperature stable part, aging monitoring part and monitoring software. Temperature control part includes temperature detection, temperature regulation, semiconductor cooling film, Power Supply and cooling water The aging monitoring part is composed of imported high stability high power supply, voltage detection circuit, current detection circuit, constant current control circuit and aging rack.     The schematic diagram of the electrical part of the system scheme is as follows

1、Voltage detection accuracy ± 0.01 V, current detection control accuracy ± 0.01 A

2、Each COS has current, voltage detection, and equipped with a large current field effect transistor for Protection Devices;

The lower part places several high-power power supply and industrial control computer, and the upper part places the aging test rack. Each aging rack can accommodate up to 50 COS devices.
Note: If you need to increase the capacity, the upper part of the cabinet can be added a layer.

Ø The COS device is connected by a high current spring probe;

Ø The current and voltage of COS device are detected, and the information is uploaded through CAN bus

Ø By installing a thermal detector at the front of the laser to detect the illumination, and through software calculation and analysis, the normal light output of COS devices can be judged

Ø When anomaly is detected (such as over-voltage, over-current, under-voltage, no light) , short-circuit Cos device, and Upload Abnormal Information;

Protective measures

1、Power protection: to ensure that the measured COS devices are not damaged by high current or high voltage impact, the power supply has a reliable anti-surge circuit. In addition, the measures of gradually increasing the current (from 0A to 18A in 9 seconds) and voltage (from 0V to 1.8 v in 9 seconds) are adopted in the aging process. The control waveform of the current is as follows

2、Power-down protection: In order to reduce the stress of the measured COS device, the measure of slow power-down is adopted, that is, the power supply is changed from 18A to 0A within 3 seconds. In addition, in the event of an unexpected power outage, the voltage and current applied to the COS device will be completely turned off, and there will be no recoil or recharging.

四、Aging procedure

    

1、Ready and rolling

 ·When the device is powered up, turn on the computer and start the aging monitoring software;

 ·Set current value, voltage limit value, aging temperature and aging time。

 

2、Material to be tested

 ·Aging COS devices are placed one by one into a defined groove

 ·Gently press down the elbow clamp, so that the spring probe pressed the positive and negative electrodes of the test piece;

 ·Close the device door。

Operational aging

 ·Click the run button on the software interface and the device begins to age;


4、
Aging process

 ·The device automatically starts the temperature control module to control the temperature;

 ·Equipment automatic voltage and current load slowly, and detect the status of each power supply control module。

 ·Once there is an exception, the power supply control module cut off the power supply, and in the software interface marked in red;

 ·If there is no exception, the device controls the constant current source to load slowly to the specified current (such as 18A) , and continuously record the voltage of each COS module, the temperature of each temperature control module, and record to the database; if there is an exception, the computer software will show the alarm

 ·Set the aging time to, the device automatically stop on the power supply to COS devices, and prompt completion

Replacement of materials

 ·Confirm the equipment prompt to complete aging or abnormal shutdown before opening the equipment cabinet door;

 ·According to the software record, and the power supply test module indicator light color, respectively good and bad goods;

 ·After changing the material, repeat step 2 to start the next round of aging test
